Curiosity, thinking, research and understanding.
Soul
Reflection, stillness, meaning and big questions.
How it is described
Each area is described as Explore, Emerging or Strong, with a short developmental description. Nobody is told “you are creative” — only that something appears to be there at this point in their journey.
Why no numbers?
A number invites comparison and comparison closes people down. The star is designed to open a conversation between a young person, a parent and an educator.
